Tyypo is an AI writing coach that helps you discover your most frequent mistakes and learn to fix them.
Auto-correct has become a crutch. Tools like Grammarly are reactive and do not address the root problem. I designed Tyypo to help others proactively improve their writing.

For many, spellcheck and AI writing assistants have become a crutch. How can we enable users to grow their skills alongside these tools, rather than get left behind?

We analyse previously discarded performance insights to build a training plan, focused on your unique challenges.
Web app
With limited resources, we needed maximum impact from a single solution.
Optimising for multiple devices wasn’t feasible, so I took a mobile-first approach to ensure the web app worked seamlessly across the board. I focused on a clear hierarchy: the primary action (practising) was made instantly accessible via a prominent, tap-friendly CTA, while secondary actions were intentionally de-emphasised to reduce friction.

Getting Tyypo live on the Chrome Web Store was a major milestone for us. It marked our transition from prototype to public product, making it instantly accessible to users and validating months of design, development, and iteration.
Traction
Barclays Eagle Labs
Less than 0.5% made it. Out of 1,106 applicants, we were proud to be one of just 50 startups selected for the Barclays Eagle Labs Product Builder Bootcamp, run in partnership with Plexal. It was a competitive and high-impact programme that gave us the structure and support to shape and validate our product from the ground up.
